Shri Paradeep Kumar Arora, passed away on 20.08.2026

Shri Paradeep Kumar Arora aged 71 years (DOB 14.09.1954) joined the Bank on 13.11.1976 and worked in different branches and Zonal Office. He retired as AGM from Zonal Office, Delhi on 30.09.2014.

He passed away on 20.08.2026 and survived with wife Madhvi Arora, daughters Sonia, Bhanu and one grandson and one granddaughter.

Shri Y Subramanian, passed away on 18.08.2026

Shri Y Subramanian, aged 67 years (DOB 23.10.1958) joined the bank on 21.01.1980 and served in different branches and administrative offices. He retired on 31.10.2018 as DGM from Corporate Office.

Due to a massive heart attack, he died on 18.08.2026 at Mumbai and he is survived with wife Smt Geetha, son Shri Varun, daughter in law Smt Puja Varun.

FIBRE - 21 years journey

Formed on 21st June 2005 as RETIRED EXECUTIVES MEET with 20 former Executives of Indian Bank at the instance and initiative of Shri. M. Gopalakrishnan and Shri. T. S. Raghavan, erstwhile CMDs of our Bank. Subsequently, the group was named as Forum of Indian Bank Retired Executives {FIBRE}. FIBRE completed 21 years of existence on 21st June 2026.

MISSION STATEMENT: To make it an active Forum so as to ensure that the Retired Executives get further opportunity to facilitate in the Image building of our Bank and in infusing an affable spirit of camaraderie and function as informal but an Effective well-knit of Members of Indian Bank Family.

Shri S Selvakumar, passed away on 18.07.2026

Shri S Selvakumar aged 70 years (DOB 27.03.1956) joined the bank on 09.07.1984 and worked in different branches. He retired as AGM from Harbour branch on 31.03.2016.

He passed away on 18.07.2026 and survived with wife Kalyani Selvakumar, daughter Dr.Kritika Selvakumar.

Shri PR Balasubramanian, passed away on 20.11.2025

Shri PR Balasubramanian, 78 years (DOB 04.03.1947) joined the bank before nationalisation on 30.03.1968. He served in various places in India and in Indonesia in various capacities Branch Manager, Zonal Manager, Ind Bank Housing Head etc. He helped the officers through his position in the Officers Association. He last served as GM in the Head Office and retired on 30.04.2006.

He expired on 20.11.2025 after prolonged illness and survived with wife Saroja, daughter Meena and one grandson Dhruv.

Smt Rajini Chandrasekar, passed away on 10.10.2025

Smt Rajini Chandrasekar, 60 years (DOB 21.10.1964) joined the bank on 19.12.1984.She worked in different branches and offices and took voluntary retirement on 17.07.2019. She last served as DGM at Zonal Office, Bengaluru.

She passed away on 10.10.2025 and survived with son Chetan, daughter Roshni and two grandchildren Avya Anup and Reya Anup.

Shri Subrahmanyeswara Rao M.V., passed away on 03.09.2025

Shri Subrahmanyeswara Rao M.V. aged 64 years (DOB 16.06.1961) joined the bank on 17.12.1982 and served in different branches and offices. He last served as Assistant General Manager at Zonal Office Amaravathi.

He expired on 03.09.2025 and survived with wife Smt M. Koti Ratna Kumari, daughters Archana, Sriramya and three granddaughters and one grandson.
